Three weeks ago James headed up to London to present an idea and lesson plan to the top peeps at ghd as an audition for a place on their art team as a Brand Warrior.
After a pretty tense 3 weeks James found out yesterday that all his bloody hard work had paid off and he got the spot!!!
We literally could not be more proud of James as this is a momentous accolade to be associated and mentored by such an amazing worldwide brand.
Here’s a little bit more of a run down on what a Brand Warrior is and what James’s role will be…
“The programme will see inspiring hairstylists from up and down the UK recruited as local ambassadors for ghd, who will enjoy opportunities for education, exposure within the industry and a competitive day rate.
You’ll be given the chance to receive full training on all things ghd, backed up by the brand’s intense understanding of the science of hair, consumer-friendly trends and take-home looks and products. You’ll also be showcased on social media, and assist in developing and bringing new looks to life on camera for ghd’s new online education portal.
The selected panel of regional brand warriors will form ghd’s team of independent freelance educators. Working, on average, once a week, you will carry out training, head up events and present at shows and launches on behalf of the brand.”
James kicks of his training with 3 days at ghd HQ London in a couple of weeks and we can’t wait to see what he gets up to and where this takes him!
