So we have been asked the question “why L’Oreal” on quite a few occasions now – so I thought I’d give you a little run down on why we choose to be a L’Oreal salon, over any other Professional Salon colour range on the market….
Whilst on our travels and throughout our numerous years(!!) of working within the industry, Steve and I have used nearly every single professional colour ranges on the market .. HOWEVER we have always believed that L’Oreal was the absolute best and always blew us away with the results.
When we first started planning YOKE we dreamed about being a L’Oreal salon and knew that we just had to have it. The results speak for themselves and the condition that hair is left in – post colour service is way better than we have seen with any other brand..
Quite simply, L’Oréal Professional combines advanced research and professional expertise to create beautiful hair, whilst leaving it in the best possible condition. The brands heritage spans back to 1907. A French chemist named Eugéne Schueller created a hair colour formula which totally revolutionized the hairdressing world!
L’Oreal works passionately to create innovative and exciting products and actually only bring out a new line when it has been rigorously tested and they are 100% confident in it – which is why they don’t have 100’s of ranges that are here one minute and discontinued the next.
Although at YOKE we are striving to be as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible, after so much thought, research and testing we knew it would be a toss up between choosing a organic brand free of nasties that wasn’t always guaranteed to deliver results and condition: over a product we 100% believed would create the best colours possible leaving the hair in its BEST condition.
ALSO contrary to some heavy duty marketing and PR the majority of these ‘organic and natural brands’ actually aren’t 100% of either.
Lastly – this is another topic for yet another blog but just so you know L’Oreal DO NOT TEST ON ANIMALS. If you want to read more about this please click here.
Ohh, I nearly forgot the goss – this year L’Oreal are about to release 2 VERY EXCITING new ranges – I’m not gonna give it all away yet,but lets just say one will be doing its bit to help lose the need for single use plastic and the other is about to smash all the so called ‘natural’ professional colours out the park.
So if you’re still with me, enjoy the beautiful L’Oreal images below and the not so beaut cracker of me and my bestie Bex, picking up our L’Oreal Colour specialist Diplomas in Sydney last year.
